Day camp started in 2010 and takes place in Scarborough for one week each summer. See the details here.

We begin with a staff Bible study to grow in our faith and discipleship. Then from 10AM-5PM we have an all-day children’s program with kids divided into small groups and circulating around different stations for daily lessons and activities, including arts and crafts, sports, music and drama. There are a number of roles including being a counsellor for a group of kids or being a counsellor helping run an activity. There’s lots of time to interact with the kids, and so it gives many positive Gospel-sharing opportunities where kids discover the Lord Jesus. In the evenings we have staff dinners and socials at the homes of local Christians which is a very fun time.

Overnight teen camp started in 2017 and takes place at Bass Lake Provincial Park (Orillia) for one week each summer. See the details here.

In the mornings we have a time of Christian education for the teens, followed by games, and in the afternoon we have fun at the beach with boating and tubing and fishing. In the evening we have a Gospel message and campfire. All with great music and delicious food. There are a number of roles including being a counsellor for a group of teens or being a counsellor helping run an activity. There’s lots of time to interact with the teens, and so it gives many positive Gospel-sharing opportunities where teens discover the Lord Jesus.

Volunteers for Overnight Teen Camp have typically started as volunteers at Day Camp and have come to Discipleship for training in Spiritual Disciplines.
